For more than 40 years, our Executive Director, Sunil Weeramantry has been proving the efficacy of chess in education. The NSCF was formed to bring his methods and discoveries to thousands more children. In addition to instruction, we are focused on developing new curriculum for schools, homeschool, and community programs, and creating resources and tools that enhance chess education online and in the classroom.
